Dressy Leather BraceletDressy Leather Bracelet - Skill Level Intermediate




Create your own lovely Dressy Leather Bracelet with this tutorial filled with step-by-step photo and written instructions. This bracelet might be narrow, but it has a lot going on and catches the eye. Make multiple bracelets and stack them for more wow! These also make great anklets!

Materials
:

·  2mm round leather cord

·  25-30 6mm round beads

·  3gm 8/0 seed beads

·  3gm 15/0 seed beads

·  6lb FireLine (recommended) or nylon beading thread waxed

·  (2) 2mm looped end caps, also called crimp ends or cord tips

·  Jump rings

·  Small Lobster claw clasp

·  E6000 adhesive or Berkley Quick Dry Cement (fishing supplies)

Tools:

·  Chain nose pliers (2)

·  Round wire cutters (optional)

·  Scissors

·  Lighter (for Berkley adhesive only)

· Size 12 beading needle

 

Desert Wreath Earrings Desert Wreath Earrings - Skill Level Easy

 

 

 

In this lesson you will learn how to make my Desert Wreath earrings.  Don’t let the name keep you from using your favorite color combinations!  Get creative with those colors!  These earrings work up quickly so have plenty of beads on the ready to keep making more!

Materials:

·  8/0 seed beads (10)

·  11/0 seed beads (58)

·  15/0 seed beads (round)

·  4mm round beads (18) of your choice

·  4lb test FireLine (recommended) or beading thread of your choice

·  Ear wires

Tools:

·  #12 beading needle

Beadwoven Dragonfly - Skill Level Intermediate

 

 

Graceful in flight and impressive at rest, dragonflies, in their adult non-aquatic stage, live no more than approximately four weeks.  In this lesson you will learn how to weave my Beaded Dragonfly Pendant, which will surpass the lifespan of a real dragonfly by decades.

 I highly recommend using FireLine or WildFire beading thread as these threads don’t stretch.  In addition to the construction, these threads will aid in supporting the wings and ensure the longest possible lifespan for your Beaded Dragonfly Pendant.

Materials:

·  3 6mm round or round faceted glass beads

·  10 4mm round or round faceted glass beads

·  8/0 Toho Seed beads

·  11/0 Toho seed beads

·  15/0 Toho seed beads

·  6lb FireLine or WildFire beading thread (highly recommended)

 Matriarch Set - Skill Level Intermediate



 

In this lesson I will guide you step-by-step through the process of creating the Matriarch motif to complete a lovely ring.  I’ll also instruct you on making the earrings and give you a nudge toward completing a Bangle.

Peyote Bezel Pendant - Skill Level Intermediate

 

 

In this lesson you will learn the basics of creating a beadwoven Peyote bezel.  This is a wonderful method to use when bezeling a cabochon or bead.  Round, oval or square… the peyote bezel can create a gorgeous frame for all!

 I will be using rounded seed beads in this tutorial, but cylinder beads such as Delicas will work quite well, maybe even better.  It is a personal choice.  I prefer the rounded seed beads because it creates a more textured and casual look.

 Materials:

·  11/0 seed beads or Delicas

·  15/0 seed beads

·  4mm crystals (optional)

·  Cabochon, rivoli or flat bead with rounded edge

·  4 or 6 lb FireLine (or nylon beading thread)

Skill Level Beginner beadweaver

You need to know how to create a closed wire loop to complete this project.

In this lesson you will learn how to weave a six pointed single bead cap as we create this fun pair of earrings.  Step by step photos make this tutorial easy to follow.  If you have experience in beadweaving, you should have these earrings completed in about an hour!

·  1 yard of beading thread

·  108 size 15 matte seed beads

·  36 size 11 glossy seed beads

·  2-4mm round beads

·  2-8mm round beads

·  2 dagger beads

·  2-2 ½ inch 22 gauge head pins or lengths of 22 gauge wire

Double Cap Charm Earrings - Skill Level Intermediate


This lesson shows how to create a beadwoven double cap spacer while making a pair of earrings.  Step-by-step photo and written instructions for making the ladder base is included.

 The spacers can be used in necklaces and bracelets as well by stringing them or making them into links.

·  4 yards of beading thread stretched and waxed if needed

·  48 size 8 cylinder or hex beads

·  224 size 11 seed beads

·  2 – 2 inch 22 gauge head pins

·  4 – 8mm glass or crystal round beads
